Update on Statutory Consultation – Draft Traffic Order TG52/1609 (Kelvin Avenue / Palmerston Road)

We would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to respond to the statutory consultation on the proposed removal of the right-turn restriction from Palmerston Road into Kelvin Avenue. We received a number of responses, including some that raised concerns about the proposals. We are now taking the time to carefully review the responses received to make sure that any decision fully considers the feedback from residents.

As a result, we are putting the proposed changes on hold. Once we have concluded our review of the responses and consulted with neighbouring Boroughs and partner agencies, we will provide a further update.
