Statutory Consultation on Proposed Micro-mobility Bays
The Council has received funding from Transport for London (TfL) to install 10 Micro-mobility Bays this financial year. Starting with locations in the south of the A406. This will help support the ongoing needs of the London Borough of Haringey until their contract ends in 2025. It has been has identified that six of the 10 locations require a permanent change to the resident permit bays on the streets listed below. This will be subject to installation based on statutory consultation. Subject to approval, these locations are estimated to be installed in January/February 2025.
The general effect of the Orders would be to amend permit parking places in:
- Ladysmith Road N18, Leyburn Road N18 and Wilbury Way N18 within the South Edmonton Event Day Controlled Parking Zone
- Princes Avenue N13 within the Bowes East Controlled Parking Zone
- Russell Road N13 within the Bowes Park Controlled Parking Zone
- Somerset Road N18 within the Upper Edmonton (North Middlesex Hospital) Controlled Parking Zone
This is to incorporate Micro-Mobility Bays used as storage facilities for the parking of rented e-bikes and scooters.
A copy of the proposed Orders and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am – 5pm inclusive.

Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make any other representations must do so by 15 December 2024. Any such objection or any representation must be in writing, quoting reference TG52/1570, and must state the grounds on which it is made. Objections or representations can be made in any of the following ways:
