Statutory consultation on proposed bike hangars
The Council has received funding from Transport for London (TfL) to install 12 bike hangars this financial year. A site selection process has identified two of the 12 locations which require a permanent change to the resident permit bays on Russell Road N13 & The Limes Avenue N11, it is subject to installation based on statutory consultation. Subject to approval, Russell Road & The Limes Avenue is estimated to be installed in January 2025.
The statutory consultation process for the bike hangar installation on Russell Road & The Limes Avenue has restarted. This is due to an error in the original consultation order TG52/1569, which contained the incorrect information of the proposed bike hangar on the enclosed plan.
We apologise for any confusion this may have caused and are committed to ensuring that the correct information is provided moving forward. The revised consultation documents, including the corrected location plan, are now available for review on the project page at https://letstalk.enfield.gov.uk/cycleparking. Any objections or representations already received will be considered.
Cycle parking is delivered by the Council's Journeys and Places programme that empowers people in Enfield to make sustainable choices for themselves, their community and our planet. Delivering secure cycle parking for residents is one of the ways we support more people to travel actively in Enfield.
Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make any other representations must do so by 24th November 2024. Any such objection or any representation must be in writing, quoting reference TG52/1575, and must state the grounds on which it is made. Objections or representations can be made in any of the following ways:
- online via the consultation survey
- emailed to: JourneysandPlaces@enfield.gov.uk; or
- posted to: Journeys and Places Team, Enfield Council, Silver Street, Enfield, EN1 3XA
