Christmas at The Pavilion

A second festive Christmas at the Pavilion was celebrated on Saturday 13 December, welcoming over 100 local residents and community members. The event also featured a special guest appearance from a familiar bearded man in red, with festive gifts for attendees.

The celebration was organised by the Pavilion Steering Group - Exodus Youth Worx, Northside Youth, and Doodle Design- with support from Enfield Council. Guests enjoyed plenty of hot chocolate alongside a range of arts and crafts activities, including bauble making, gingerbread decorating, and hair braiding, all set against a backdrop of Christmas tunes filling the air.

Work from the photowalk session held a few weeks earlier, as well as the woven arbours created during the Big Draw event, were exhibited on the Pavilion for everyone to enjoy. The event also provided an opportunity to continue engagement around the long-term strategy, alongside architects Jas Bhalla Works, who are developing the project. Attendees shared feedback on how play could be incorporated into the design, both within the project and across the green.

The event closed with Christmas carols and warm wishes, leaving everyone looking forward to a happy holiday season.
