Construction Notice: The Green Pop-Up

Enfield Council is creating The Green Pop-Up, a new space near Edmonton Green Overground Station. The project will support local businesses and bring new life to the town centre.

What’s happening

We’re building three small trading units, each between 5 and 9 square metres. These will include electricity, water and shared storage to support day-to-day trading.

Around the units, we’re improving the surrounding area to create a welcoming public space, with new seating, lighting and places for people to spend time. In total, this will provide around 30 square metres of new space for local businesses and around 100 square metres of improved public space for the community.

When we’ll be on site

Construction is due to start on Monday 5 January 2026 and finish by Monday 23 March 2026.

Access during the works

The Green will be closed for the full construction period. Please follow on-site signage and use alternative routes while works are underway.
