Enfield Council is thrilled to announce the opening of three brand new trading units right at the entrance of Edmonton Green Overground Station.

These prime location units are central to the area's ongoing regeneration, positioning your business to thrive from high commuter and local foot traffic.

We are inviting expressions of interest from independent small, micro, and start-up enterprises from the Enfield area that have a retail front, this could be food and beverage, classic retail or service type businesses.

This opportunity is designed to support and grow local businesses by providing them with a high-profile, professional trading environment with minimal fit-out capital required. Successful tenants will offer a unique, high-quality proposition that complements the existing retail offer and adds genuine value to the community. We are looking for concepts that are authentic, innovative, and reflect the cultural diversity of the neighbourhood.

Following this phase, shortlisted businesses will be invited to submit a detailed application later in January 2026, which will inform the final selection in early February.
Successful businesses will be notified by mid-February 2026 and supported to take possession of their allocated unit by mid-March 2026.

The Green Pop-Up - Project Details

The Green Pop-Up, designed by Fisher Cheng Architects, consists of three small trading units set within a newly created public space near Edmonton Green Overground Station, creating create a visible and accessible presence for local businesses and an excellent opportunity to capitalise on the high footfall of the area.

The units range from 5 to 9 square metres, and each includes access to electricity and water and to a communal storage area. The surrounding public space has been designed for people to enjoy throughout the day and evening, with new lighting, seating, and places for customers to spend time.
