The Green Pop-Up at Edmonton Green

Enfield Council is creating a vibrant new space for local businesses to trade on The Green, near Edmonton Green Overground Station. This project builds on the successful work the Journeys and Places team have delivered with The Pavilion on The Green. The aim is to bring new life to a key public space while supporting small independent businesses of the Town Centre.

The project began in July of this year and since then has had two successful community engagement sessions. These on-site engagement sessions events invited residents and members of the public to share their thoughts on the types of businesses they would like to see in the space and gave them a first look at the concept designs by local architects Fisher Cheng.

The new public space will feature three pop units that will accommodate emerging local business and will be open to trade five to six days a week. The area will also feature cafe style tables and seating encouraging people to relax and spend time in the space.

"The Green Pop-up" is expected to be completed and ready for businesses in March 2026.

We are currently engaging with local businesses interested in taking up the available units. If you are a local business owner and would like to get involved, we will soon be inviting Expressions of Interest via a form on this project page. Please check back shortly for details.
