Completion of construction

We are excited to announce the completion of Phase 1 – Section 1 of the New River to Brick Lane Walking and Cycling Route from Tenniswood Road to Ladysmith Road. This initiative has transformed the area through delivering an extended green space, improving accessibility, and a has created a more welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

The project included improvements to the existing shared path near the footway bridge at Tenniswood Road and Ladysmith Road.

We greatly appreciate your patience and support throughout the construction phase. These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing public spaces that people in Enfield can enjoy and feel safe in.

The following phases of our project will concentrate on progressing Section 2 followed by Section 4. Section 2 is scheduled to commence in early August. This section includes works along Ladysmith Road to improve visibility and accessibility to the entrance to Enfield Playing Fields, and on Cambridge Gardens to enhance traffic flow and road safety.
