Report on decision on the progression of the scheme

A report that details the progression of the New River to Brick Lane Walking and Cycling Route project has been published. This report has been approved by Cllr Rick Jewell, Cabinet Member for Environment, and delegates the authority to the Journeys and Places Programme Director in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Environment to progress the project in stages subject to funding and the statutory consultation outcome.

Please note that this report is different to the report that will address the making of the traffic order for Phase 1 of the project. We will post an update on the recent statutory consultation on the draft Traffic Order TG52/1547 in the coming weeks.
