Opportunity Areas, as defined in the 2021 London Plan, are London's key locations that have potential for large scale development, providing substantial new jobs and homes.
There are 47 Opportunity Areas identified in the London Plan, of which New Southgate is one.
The New Southgate Opportunity Area is identified as having the potential for 2,500 new homes and 3,000 new jobs by 2041.
