The meeting provided an opportunity for members to meet one another, begin building working relationships and discuss the Board's role in supporting the delivery of the programme over the coming years.

Discussions focused on governance arrangements, community engagement and the next steps required to develop a long-term vision and investment plan for Lower Edmonton South. A key priority for the Board will be developing the Lower Edmonton South Pride in Place Plan, which is due to be submitted in February 2027 and will set out priorities and investment in the area over the next ten years.

What Happens Next?

Over the coming months, the Board will begin engaging with residents, businesses, community organisations, schools, faith groups and other local stakeholders to better understand the opportunities and priorities for Lower Edmonton South.

The feedback gathered will help inform the development of the Lower Edmonton South Pride in Place Plan, which will guide investment and activity across the area over the next decade.

One of the Board's first opportunities to engage with the community will be at the Community Connect Health and Wellbeing Event on 22 October 2026 at The Living Room, N18.

Health and Wellbeing is one of the standing committees that will support the work of the Lower Edmonton South Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board. The event will provide an opportunity for local residents and stakeholders to learn more about the programme, meet Board representatives and begin sharing their views on the future of the area.
