Join us in shaping a creative future for Angel Community Centre

Plans for the refurbishment of Angel Community Centre continue to develop, supporting a more vibrant and welcoming space for the community.

These plans are being shaped by ongoing conversations with people who use and care about the centre.

Local residents are invited to take part in a creative fabric collage workshop and help create a community tapestry from 1pm to 2.30pm on Thursday 30 July.

A family-friendly film screening will follow from 3pm–5pm, with free popcorn and refreshments available.

This builds on earlier activity at the centre, including film screenings held in December, which explored how the space could support more creative, community-led events. The workshop will continue these conversations, helping to generate ideas and inspiration for future community use of the centre. Refurbishment works at Angel Community Centre are planned to begin in autumn and are expected to be completed in early 2027.
