Visit the Community Room
Drop by during library to visit the Community Room in the Living Room Library on Fore Street, N18. We have a programme of workshops and activities happening and everyone is welcome to join.
Upcoming events:
Thursday 26 June 3:30-5:30pm: Wildlife Workshop – Build bug hotels, and learn about bumblebees with the Landscape Architect working on the enhanced designs for Florence Hayes Park.
Tuesday 1 July 5-7pm: Shaping Edmonton – Let’s talk! Ask questions, learn more about the projects, and share your thoughts on shaping the future of Edmonton.
Tuesday 8 July 3-5pm: Safe Streets, Stronger Communities – Hear how the Violence Reduction Team is working to improve safety and strengthen community connections in Edmonton.
Thursday 17 July 4-6pm: Myth-Busting Health: Body, Mind and Media – Join Reeshab Ragvani, an aspiring medic, as he debunks social media myths and empowers young people for a healthier future.
Tuesday 22 July 3-5pm: Fore Street Futures: Walk, Share, Imagine – Meet at the Living Room Library. Join Council architects to explore Fore Street, then head to the Community Room for a creative discussion on its future—refreshments provided.
Friday 25 July 11-1pm: Trash to Treasure – Join local artist Christina Kalinowski from Doodle Designs as she shows you how to turn recycled materials into beautiful, handmade items like jewellery and crafts for the home.
Tuesday 5 August 3-5pm: Angel Edmonton Collage – Imagine a brighter future for Angel Edmonton. Create a shared vision through collage, colour and creativity.
Tuesday 12 August 3-5pm: Greener Together – Find out from the Council’s Parks team about volunteering opportunities in your local park or open space.
