Christmas "Choir Corner" at Southgate Pocket Park
Southgate's Pocket Park has come to life this season with a lot of festive cheer. The Southgate District Civic Voice organised a Christmas carol with Ashmole Primary's student choir to spread some Christmas joy and raise money for charity. The event was held on Monday,15th December. The choir performed hits such as "Last Christmas", "Rudolf the Red nosed Reindeer", "Twelve Days of Christmas" and a special British Sign Language rendition of "We Wish you a Merry Christmas".
The event was well attended and serves as a soft launch for a program of cultural activities at the Pocket Park, Southgate's temporary Culture Place. There'll be a few other events happening in 2026 as part of this programme. Stay tuned for more updates.
