Feedback - A1010S to North Middlesex Hospital Cycle Route

Enfield Council have introduced a new cycle route that connects the existing route from Cycleway 1 (southern end of the A1010 South project on Fore Street) with North Middlesex Hospital. The route is approximately 1.4km long and extends between Park Road and the A406 North Circular Road underpass at Bull Lane.

The project has been implemented as a trial using Experimental Traffic Orders (ETO) which require a period of consultation with local residents, businesses and other stakeholders during the trial period.

There will be a range of assessments that will need to be balanced when judging the overall success of the trial. Assessments will include:

  • Residents’ views on how the benefits of the scheme compare against the disbenefits
  • Data on the number of cycle journeys that make use of the route
  • Data on the volume of motor vehicle movements in the area
  • Data on the speed of motor vehicles in the area
  • Impact on the primary roads in the area
  • Air quality considerations
  • Bus journey time considerations through discussion with Transport for London
  • Outcomes of ongoing dialogue with the Emergency Services

Now that the community have had the opportunity to experience the trial working in practice, we would like to invite you to share your feedback. The responses will be analysed and summarised in the formal report that will inform any decision made.

Once you submit the survey you will be sent a copy of your responses.
