Angel Close Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ)

Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Email this link

Overview

Last year Enfield Council consulted residents of Angel Close on the idea of a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ).

This follows on from that earlier consultation as that showed the respondents from Angel Close to be broadly in favour of parking controls.

The previous consultation also suggests that there is not enough support to continue to include Angel Place.

The Council aims to proceed with introducing the scheme in Spring / Summer 2021. This consultation provides residents and others the opportunity to object or make representation regarding the scheme.

  • Why is this needed?

Residents, shoppers, local businesses and others currently compete for limited on-street parking space in the area.

Permit controls would offer better balance to local parking arrangements and give priority to residents of Angel Close

    How will it help?

Residents, commuters, local businesses and others currently compete for limited on-street parking space in Angel Close. Although the area is within the existing South Edmonton Event Day CPZ, this only operates when events are taking place at the near-by Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Additional permit parking controls would offer a better balance to local parking arrangements, giving priority to residents at other times too.

This consultation provides you with the opportunity to make objections to the traffic management orders that need to be made if the scheme is to be introduced
