An Angel for Edmonton: New public artwork for Joyce & Snells Estate
Launch Event: 12.30pm to 5.30pm, starting at Angel Gardens
You are warmly invited to the launch of ‘An Angel for Edmonton’, a new public sculpture created by artist Rafael Klein. The sculpture has been commissioned and co-designed with local residents through the Curate Enfield public arts programme, a Journeys and Places initiative at Enfield Council. The project is supported by Arts Council England.
The launch event will include a tour of public art in Angel Edmonton and Upper Edmonton including a new artwork in Angel Gardens created by local ceramicist Owen Wall. Following the tour, we will finish at Fore Street Living Room Library for some delicious refreshments.
Join us for the event which will run as follows:
- 12.30pm: Launch of The Jet Plane Sky artwork created by Owen Wall at Angel Gardens, Rays Road, London N18 2NX
- 2.00-3.15pm: Tour of Fore Street Murals and surrounding artworks starting outside Fore Street Living Room Library
- 3.30pm: Launch of An Angel for Edmonton public artwork at Snells & Joyce Estate (the green area as shown in the image above on Fore Street, close to the Old Surgery in Snells Park Estate)
- 4.00-5.30pm: Refreshments provided at Fore Street Living Room Library
