A new vision for Edmonton

Enfield Council has secured £11.9 million in government funding to transform Angel Edmonton.

Transforming the area alongside the community

‘Levelling Up Angel Edmonton’ supports ongoing Council investment to realise a new vision for the area and deliver positive outcomes for the community. The Levelling Up projects in Angel Edmonton build upon the successful initiatives already completed in the area through the Town Centre Action Plan programme, spearheaded by the Council and supported by funding from the Mayor of London’s Good Growth Fund. These completed projects include the Angel Yard workspaces, the Living Room Library, and the Clean Air Route and School Street.

11 exciting new projects

The programme will create a further 11 place shaping projects that will improve and green the public realm, create better links for sustainable travel, enhance community, work and cultural space and support community safety. Levelling Up Angel Edmonton is funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

Delivered by teams from across Enfield Council

The project is being delivered by the Journeys and Places programme in collaboration with teams from across the Council including the Housing and Regeneration team on Joyce and Snell's, Public Health Property and Community Safety. We will be working closely with local residents, businesses, community groups, Transport for London, the Met Police, and many other partners to design and deliver this comprehensive programme.

We are keen to your ideas for future town centre projects on the map below. If you have any feedback or questions about the projects being delivered in Angel Edmonton please email JourneysandPlaces@enfield.gov.uk
