Enfield Council are planning on improving the footpath which runs from Hertford Road to Cuckoo Hall Recreation Ground (Charlton Road Park) which follows the Boundary Brook watercourse. There is also an opportunity to improve the park entrance at Hertford Road which is currently hidden behind a car park. By removing the car park, we can open the entrance and create a safer and stronger connection, whilst also bringing a new green space to the front of Hertford Road. In addition, we can incorporate a flood alleviation feature within the new entrance which will help to reduce flooding on the Herford Road.

We also plan on constructing a new wetland feature at the eastern end of the Boundary Brook to help alleviate flooding and enhance amenity and biodiversity. These proposals offer opportunities for local people to get involved in the creation and future of new green spaces
