Project update: Church Street Bus Lane

Enfield Council carried out early engagement on proposals for a bus lane along the eastern side of Church Street N9, between Church Street/Ridge Road junction and Church Street/A10 Junction, between February and March 2025.

Following this engagement, the design was reviewed in discussion with internal stakeholders and Transport for London. This review identified several constraints, including impacts on parking, junction limitations at the A10, and the need for wider network improvements.  

Having carefully considered these factors, a decision has been made not to progress the Church Street N9 Bus Lane scheme further at this time. We would like to thank everyone who took part in the engagement and shared their feedback
