Project update: Church Street Bus Priority Early Engagement

In February and March 2025 Enfield Council undertook early engagement with residents on a proposed bus lane along the east side of Church Street, between Church Street/Ridge Road junction and Church Street/A10 Junction, as part of the TfL-funded Bus Priority Programme.

We have produced an engagement report that summarises the feedback received, which can be read here.

Based on the feedback received, we will continue to review the current concept designs and explore further opportunities to improve the bus services and the traffic flow on Church Street. This will consider the recommendations from local residents and other stakeholders. At this time, there are no plans to move forward with the proposed scheme in its current form.
