Amendment notice for waiting restrictions

Site works have been progressing across Derby Road, Loraine Close, Kingsway and Queensway, including new road markings and the installation of new posts and signs, as part of delivering the Electric Quarter CPZ.

The Council has drafted an Amendment Traffic Management Order (see here) to clarify the current waiting restrictions (single and double yellow lines) within these roads remain enforceable following the recently made traffic order TG52/1595.

There is a statutory consultation period of 21 days, ending on 3 April 2026. Anyone can make a representation or objection to the draft traffic order in writing via email to journeysandplaces@enfield.gov.uk or in writing to ATTN: Transport, Climate and Place, Enfield Council, Silver St, Enfield EN1 3XA.

Once the Council has reviewed all feedback received during the consultation period, we will write to all residents within the roads listed above to confirm the outcome of the statutory consultation on the Amendment Order.
