Electric Quarter - Statutory Consultation

Following the engagement period held in September 2024, the Council has decided to proceed to statutory consultation on a draft traffic order with a revised proposal in consideration of resident feedback. A positive response was received overall, and the Council continues to believe a controlled parking period of Monday to Sunday 8am to 6.30pm will be effective at interrupting most commuter parking activity without unduly impacting residents and their visitors.

Details of the proposals and draft traffic orders can be found in the Documents section on the right hand side of this project page and (link here) will be uploaded shortly onto the Council website here(External link). We invite residents, businesses, and any other interested stakeholders to take part in the statutory consultation. Please make your representation or objection in writing stating the grounds on which it is being made and quoting the reference TG52/1595 no later than 11.59pm on Sunday 05 October 2025. You can make a representation or objection in one of the following ways:

Following the statutory consultation, a summary of objections and representations will be produced. Enfield Council will provide a response and use the comments received to make a decision on whether or not to implement the CPZ.
