Enfield Council have an exciting opportunity to trial conservation grazing in selected parks within the borough, which can bring many positive environmental benefits.
We're taking inspiration from the land management practices of Epping Forest, Cambridgeshire, Tottenham Marshes and Wanstead Park.
The trial will see a small number of Red Poll cattle, who are naturally docile cattle, grazing at Trent Park, Whitewebbs Park and Forty Hall Park through this year's grazing season.
Please read more about the project in the consultation document, and fill out a questionnaire. You can also meet the cattle at Forty Hall Farm on Wednesday 29th June 2022 between 3pm and 6pm. All are welcome!
Please note that the consultation ends at 5PM on Sunday 10th July 2022
