Share Community help to redesign Enfield Town on Facebook Share Community help to redesign Enfield Town on Twitter Share Community help to redesign Enfield Town on Linkedin Email Community help to redesign Enfield Town linkPeople who live, work and study in Enfield will be given the opportunity to help re-design many of Enfield Town’s public spaces. Online workshops will be held to focus on improvements to: Fountain Island, the Library Green and Town Park Entrance, the Enfield Town Station Plaza and the possibility of a new community space - 'Saddlers Mill Square' - just off Church Street.
The opportunity follows a period of detailed community engagement last year which heard from more than a thousand people keen to help shape the town centre. Five overarching principles have been identified, which will help the design process:
• Safe for all
• Has a vibrant economy
• Is a great place to be
• Offers transport choices and
• Celebrates its heritage.Find out more about the project and opportunities to get involved by visiting the Let's Talk Enfield Town page.

Share Winning bid to regenerate Enfield Town on Facebook Share Winning bid to regenerate Enfield Town on Twitter Share Winning bid to regenerate Enfield Town on Linkedin Email Winning bid to regenerate Enfield Town linkEnfield Town Centre is to receive a cash-injection of £6 million to help transform its look and feel, rejuvenate the local economy and create a more welcoming, safer environment for all. Enfield Council made a successful bid to the Mayor of London and Transport for London’s Liveable Neighbourhoods fund which will go towards the large-scale regeneration of the town.
Rejuvenating the local economy will come hand-in-hand with making Enfield Town a cleaner and greener place to visit by reducing pollution, creating new and improved public spaces, making safer and more accessible pedestrian areas and linking to Enfield’s existing cycle network.
