Construction Update - Bull Lane

We will be constructing a bus gate on Bull Lane beginning Monday 31 July 2023, near the Enfield-Haringey boundary. These works will continue until completion of the bus gate which is estimated to take 3 to 4 weeks. This timeline may change due to any unseen circumstances that arise related to the existing site or works progressing faster than expected.

In order to carry out the works in a safe and efficient manner we will need to introduce temporary traffic measures. These measures will include a closure on Bull Lane adjacent to the south-eastern corner of the park (DLG planes flying field) from 8am to 6pm each day, meaning motor vehicles will not be able to pass through this closure during these times. Measures will also include parking restrictions and route diversions that will be signed in the area. The diversion routes will be indicated with signage. Access to nearby properties will be maintained; however, properties to the north of these works will only be accessible via Bull Lane from the north and properties to the south will only be accessible via Queen Street from the south.

We recognise that construction work on our streets can cause temporary disruption to those living or working nearby. Please be assured that every effort is made to minimise any unnecessary noise or foot/vehicle traffic disruption, and we have reminded all staff to be considerate to our neighbours.
