Cycle and Scooter Parking at Schools

As part of the School Streets Delivery Plan for FY 23/24, we are pleased to announce the successful installation of cycle and scooter parking facilities at seven schools. These facilities were installed between April and May and have since been handed over to the respective schools for ongoing use. Cycle parking at schools facilitates and encourages cycling to school, and reinforces our commitment to creating safer, more sustainable school environments. We anticipate that these new facilities will lead to a significant uptake in cycling amongst students, contributing to a healthier and more active school community.

Cycle and scooter parking has been installed at the following schools:

• St. Georges Catholic Primary School
• Raglan Junior Primary School
• Firs Farm Primary School
• Highfield Primary School
• Alma Road Primary School
