School Streets Firs Farm Update - Enforcement to Commence
Firs Farm School Street Update
The School Street serving Firs Farm Primary School will soon become fully operational.
From 29 June 2026, enforcement will begin using ANPR cameras.
Operational Hours
Monday–Friday (term time only)
- 8:30–9:30am
- 3:00–4:00pm
During these times, motor vehicles should not enter the School Street zone unless they have an exemption.
The zone includes:
Rayleigh Road
Harlow Road
Harrington Terrace
Kipling Terrace
Vehicles entering the zone during these hours without an exemption will receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).
Exemption Permits – Applications
Some vehicles are eligible for free exemption permits. Exemptions are not automatic and must be applied for before enforcement begins.

Dial-a-Ride and emergency services can access the zone at all times without applying.
