Statutory Consultation and Notification of Works

Following the statutory consultation TG52/1572 and the decision to introduce School Streets at Eversley Primary School and Merryhills Primary School, construction will begin in the week commencing Monday 31 March 2025 at each location. These projects, part of Enfield Council’s Journeys and Places programme, will bring the total number of School Streets in Enfield to 26. These School Streets are helping to create safer and healthier environments for children to get to school by walking, wheeling, scooting, cycling and other forms of active and sustainable travel.

Residents and parents have been informed about the upcoming works and will receive further updates when the schemes are ready to launch. Further information about the projects can be found in the documents section on the right-hand side of this project page.
