Update on Brettenham and Fleecefield Primary Schools Street
We want to reassure residents and local businesses about how the School Street permitting system will work.
The permit application system is not live yet.
Some vehicles will be eligible for exemptions as part of the School Street scheme. Vehicles with an exemption will always be able to travel through the School Street during its operating hours. This includes:
- Residents who live within the School Street zone*
- Businesses operating within the School Street zone*
*If criteria is met
We will contact everyone who is eligible for exemption as soon as the system is ready, with clear information on how to apply.
Importantly, Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs will not be issued) until the permit system is fully in place and residents and businesses have been given suitable notice.
