Ashfield Parade Parklets - Statutory Consultation

This project has been delivered using an Experimental Traffic Order which may be in place for up to 18 months. We have a statutory obligation to consult residents and businesses within the project area once the ETO is in place. We refer to this as delivering a ‘trial’ of the scheme. This allows us to make changes to the scheme as we learn how it operates in practice.

The statutory consultation is open until midnight on Sunday 11 August 2024. Any objection or representation must be made in writing, quoting the reference TG52/1535 and must state the grounds on which it is made. Objections or representations can be made in any of the following ways:

  • online via this survey

  • emailed to journeysandplaces@enfield.gov.uk or

  • posted to Journeys and Places team, Enfield Council, Silver Street, Enfield, EN1 3XA.

Following the statutory consultation during the trial period, a formal report will be produced that responds to issues raised. The Council will provide a response and use the comments received as well as information from other monitoring activities to make a decision on whether to make changes to the scheme, remove it or make it permanent.
