Sunnyside CPZ will soon be in full operation

Construction works for the Sunnyside Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) have now been completed with all signage, posts, and road markings in place. The zone will come into effect from 27 April 2026 and will be enforceable on event days held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Only vehicles displaying valid permits may park in the resident bays on event days during the zone’s operating hours of 12pm to 9pm.

Events at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium include football matches, concerts and any other type of event held at the stadium. Please refer to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium website for information on events.

The CPZ aims to help maximise space for existing residents on these days. Its introduction follows a statutory consultation on draft traffic order TG52/1597 held in October 2025. A map of the zone boundary is shown below.

Resident Parking Permits - Eligibility

The CPZ will be enforced using permits, which residents can apply for online. Sunnyside Event Day CPZ permits are currently free for residents, with a maximum of three permits per applicant.

Any eligible applicant living within the zone boundary can apply online; however, holding a permit does not always guarantee the availability of a convenient parking space when needed.

Vehicles parked during operational hours without displaying a valid permit may be liable to receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and could be removed to the Council’s vehicle pound.

How to Apply

Residents who live within the zone can apply for a permit via the Councils website: Parking permits | Enfield Council

Proof of vehicle ownership and proof of residency (dated within the last three months) must be provided during the application process. The name and address on all proof must be the same and match the addresses within the Sunnyside CPZ area in which the permit is being applied for.

When applying for your permit, please select the start date as 27 April 2026.
