Join us at Edmonton Green Shopping Centre on Saturday 2nd December between 11am - 2pm, where we'll be sharing the latest design updates for the Pavilion on The Green. The team will be outside the Library in the South Mall to take you through the design.

Celebrate The Green!

Celebrate The Green closes out a summer of events aimed at shaping the future of The Green together.

Event Programme

STAGE

12:00 - 1:00pm	Get moving with a free Tai Chi and Chi Gong session with Energ'Chi
1:15 - 2:15pm	Live poetry with Enfield Poets including Mary Duggan and Edmonton’s own Keith Mowatt
2:45 - 3:15pm	Enfield People's Theatre will be previewing a few scenes from their new play Bread and Roses - the untold story of the 1915 Edmonton Rent Strike
4:00 - 4:30pm	Solo Krump performance with reknowned dance artist Joshua Vendetta Nash
4:45 - 5:30pm	Live acoustic Congolese Rumba with vocalist Eugene Makuta and Limousine on guitar, with Central African Youth in Enfield

12:00 - 6:00pm	Performing Pets Petting Zoo with miniature pony, lambs, goats, bunnies and more!
12:00 - 4:00pm	Den building workshop with Doodle Designs
12:00 - 6:00pm	Music Workshops with DJ & MC Academy
2:00 - 5:00pm	Jewellery marking with NYCC
2:00 - 5:00pm	Puppet Theatre storytelling with Rufus

You'll also be able to see and feedback on the latest designs for the upcoming Pavilion on The Green.

Make The Green

Come and take part in a series of unique activities to help shape The Green!

This time we'll be taking over The Green with a den-building workshop led by Doodle Designs using fabrics, ropes and clips!

Come and meet Edmonton's own Eddie the Elephant who will be popping by at 11:30am and 1pm.

The team will be on site between 10am - 4pm, where we'll be presenting the latest design developments for a forthcoming temporary pavilion on The Green and sharing how your feedback has helped shaped this.

Envision The Green with Doodle Designs and Energ'Chi

Come and take part in a series of unique activities to help shape The Green!

11-3pm - Experiment with creative Collage, Origami and Plant Pressing workshops hosted by Doodle Designs.

Starting 12pm and 1pm - Introduce yourself to the energising movements of Tai Chi and Chi Gong outdoors to get your weekend going with a fully certified instructor from Energ'Chi.

The team will be on site between 10am - 4pm, where we'll be presenting the feedback so far and listening to your input on the brief for a forthcoming temporary pavilion on The Green.

Get to know The Green - with Doodle Designs and Rockstone Gardener

Join us on The Green for a day of fun activities, including creative workshops, nature walks and games for all ages.

Help shape and inspire the future interventions for The Green, and hear feedback from our first community engagement session.

The team will be on site from 10am-4pm on the day to introduce the wider project and hear your thoughts.

Help shape The Green - Introductory Launch through People Powered Mapping

Join us for the introductory launch of a series of participatory events to help shape the future of The Green - a valuable natural resource in the heart of Edmonton Green. We'll be getting to know The Green by mapping your experiences of the space, through a series of walking tours starting at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. No prior booking necessary, just turn up!
